If you are receiving this email, it is because you are an active part of our Miami studio’s ecosystem! The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our Studio Insiders (studio members, staff, interns, and resident artists) in the loop on what’s happening at the studio in the coming month. It’s meant to be a bare-bones run down to help you maximize your studio time and help you stay on top of deadlines, deals, and events. This email only goes out to the folks who we know might need it. Keep an eye out for it in your inbox!

Announcements:
We’ve done it. IS Projects is now the Miami Paper & Printing Museum. You’ll start to see that change everywhere we are soon, but for now: The parties were fun, the exhibitions look great, and we have been having a blast.

The Permanent Collection, curated by Beth Sheehan. A splendid selection of artworks and equipment from our archives which illuminate the overlapping worlds of papermaking and letterpress printing
The Contemporary Wing, currently featuring Carol Prusa’s Galaxias Kyklos etching suite
The Museum Store, your new one-stop-shop for book and printmaking supplies. Come check out the new paper, inks, and tools, plus all of the handcrafted goods, artists’ books, prints, and zines we’ve always had here for you.

Friday, October 18th, 6-9PM: Member Night: Three free hours of Open Studio, monitored by Ingrid Schindall. This is your chance to pick her brain on all kinds of shop talk — come with questions about ink and paper! Consider Member Night Ingrid’s drop-in office hours to discuss all things art.
Upcoming Deadlines:
Sign up to have a table at Small Press Fair (before we run out of space!)
Small Press Fair 2024 is coming up FAST! If you would like to secure a table for yourself or a group you’re a part of, head over to the SPF website and sign up now. SPF is a great way to meet other print/book/zine makers and enthusiasts, and to share and sell the things you love to make. If you don’t want to have a table this year but still want to get involved, you can apply to volunteer! Follow SPF on Instagram @spfftl and join the email list to learn about SPF-opportunities as they are announced. SPF is only possible because of the love of the community.October 15: Key Holder Residency application deadline

LEARN + MAKE
Best time for workshops until 2025!
Come October is bursting with workshops! Things will really slow down in November and December, so if you’ve been thinking about taking a workshop before 2025 rolls around, the time has come. All three of our four week courses start next week, so sign up now!
Private workshops for custom goals
Don’t forget that we’ve added a few of our favorite Private Instruction options to our Classes + Events page — just add them to your cart and check out to book them. We’ll reach out to schedule your private workshop ASAP. If you want to set up Private Instruction for something a little more off-the-beaten-path, you can still absolutely do so through this link. Members: You get 20% off on all Private Instruction! Search your emails from us for your code. If you’re purchasing through the website, use your member code at checkout. Members will find that scheduling Assisted Studio Time is more practical for one-on-one learning, but Private Instruction lets you set up a workshop for you and up to three other folks. As long as a member is booking the workshop, the discount applies to the whole purchase! We want it to be easy for you to share the things you love with the people around you.

We now offer Members-Only Studio Passes for either 7-day or 30-day time periods — you set the start date with us! We can only support 4 Studio Passes at a time — if you know you’ve got a busy month coming up, reserve yours ASAP.
Open Studio Sessions are posted through June! Members can reserve their spots in a session by purchasing it on our website.
