Miami Paper & Printing Museum, AKA IS Projects, exists to keep print alive by cultivating a vibrant, collaborative community around the press. Based in Miami’s Little River neighborhood, it challenges the traditional expectations of a museum and instead offers 3,000sqft of active studio space that is inhabited by antique printing presses, cutting edge craft innovations, and artists who are invested in making art with their hands. It’s role in the community is vital as Miami’s only fully equipped public-access printmaking and book arts studio, providing access to letterpress, fine art printmaking, bookbinding, and papermaking facilities. It’s more than a studio—it’s a living space for print culture to grow.
