Studio Insider Newsletter: May
/Studio Insider: Keeping you on top of the good stuff
If you are receiving this email, it is because you are an active part of our Miami studio’s ecosystem! The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our Studio Insiders (studio members, staff, interns, and resident artists) in the loop on what’s happening at the studio in the coming month. It’s meant to be a bare-bones run down to help you maximize your studio time and help you stay on top of deadlines, deals, and events. This email only goes out to the folks who we know might need it. Keep an eye out for it in your inbox!
DATES TO REMEMBER
Moving into May at IS Projects:
Saturday, May 11, 1PM-5PM: Artists Open. Come hang out and chat with participating Key Holder residents, studio members, Brooke, and Ingrid about their work during this new version of Fountainhead’s annual city-wide open studio event. Participating artists in Little River, Little Haiti, and North Miami will have their studios open on this day. Registration to participate through us has closed, but we would love to share our work and all the fun with the folks who can make it out.
Friday, May 17, 6PM-9PM: Member Night. Three free hours of Open Studio, monitored by Brooke Frank. Got questions about your work you’ve been wrestling with? Need a supportive and constructive conversation about the things you’re working on? Consider Member Night Brooke’s drop-in office hours to discuss all things art.

Print Club: Collograph is coming up! It will take place at 10AM on Saturday, May 4th. Print Club demos are open to everyone, but Print Club members get 50% off with their Print Club Member code. If you’ve seen the incredible exhibition of Belkis Ayón’s collagraphs at David Castillo Gallery, then you may already realize there is a lot more to this technique than most Google searches would have you believe. And if you haven’t seen that show yet? Good news: they’ve extended it! Ayón’s work will remain on view in their Design District location until May 11th.
