Community Day: Come Try Screenprinting

This community demo day is a great opportunity to come in and try screenprinting for yourself!
Participants will get to pull some prints from screens prepared with three different types of images to learn about some of the possibilities within this well-known and versatile printmaking technique. It can be used to print anything from gig posters to t-shirts to fine art prints. We will be printing text, halftone photo images, and bold, graphic stencil images.
All necessary materials will be provided to pull a few prints on paper, and every participant will get to take home the prints that they make. You are welcome to bring blank t-shirts, old magazine pages, aprons, napkins, etc. – anything other than paper that you think might look better with a print on it!
You are welcome to join us for the whole session, but you are not required to be present from 12-4 in order to participate. If you’re planning to drop in, give yourself at least an hour of time here to print.
You must sign up by Friday at 5PM to guarantee we have materials ready for you!
